It's the 11th.

Every month on the 11th, I focus on veterans and the military family.
Why the 11th? Because Veterans Day is on November 11.
A single day is not nearly adequate to honor veterans. Once a month is better. Daily, hourly is best.

I am a caregiver. Caregivers respond to needs. Sometimes those needs require our full attention, and we must set aside other things. Even things that are important. Things like speaking up for veterans.

And that’s where I am today.

A moving story about lessons I learned from a Navajo veteran of the Korean war is front and center in my thoughts. But I must save it to share another time.

Today I must tend to others.
